Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required or preferred.
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma/certificate preferred.
• Previous Pharmacy Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and gather prescription information according to standards.
• Refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist and manage wait times for customers.
• Assist in prescription processing and medication counting/labeling.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy requirements in the dispensary.
• Assist in data entry for new prescriptions and manage refill requests.
• Adhere to pharmacy standards of practice for documentation and filing.
