Pharmasave #406 in Swift Current, SK, is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant. You will support pharmacists, greet customers, and handle prescription entry, labeling and packaging under supervision. The position requires 1–3 years in retail pharmacy, strong data entry (Kroll), and knowledge of Pharmacare billing.

Qualifications

1–3 years retail pharmacy experience as Pharmacy Assistant
Strong data entry accuracy using Kroll
Understanding of Pharmacare/insurance billing processes
Excellent verbal and written communication; team-oriented

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care
Greet customers and answer phone calls professionally
Enter, label, and package prescriptions under supervision
Accurately count, measure, and package medications per protocols
Receive, stock, rotate, and audit inventory
Keep the pharmacy area clean and dispose of expired meds safely
Perform clerical tasks and assist with insurance claims and transfers
Support daily pharmacy operations and other duties as assigned
