CareRx Corporation is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant L2 with Kroll data entry experience to support LTC homes and retirement communities in Oakville. You will enter prescriptions in Kroll, process refills, handle phone inquiries with nurses, and assist with billing and daily operations in line with Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork within a collaborative environment. On-site schedule includes a five-day week with potential on-call rotations.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent working knowledge of Kroll and eMAR systems.
• Competency with Microsoft Office software.
• Demonstrated ability to operate PACMed and PACVision machines.
• Excellent visual acuity, numeracy, detail orientation and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Entering new prescriptions and client information to be filled within Kroll Pharmacy software
• Process refill prescriptions within Kroll Pharmacy software
• Responding to phone inquiries from nurses providing strong customer service
• Conduct third-party adjudications required for prescription billing
• Ensure adherence to order cut-off times to achieve timely task completion
• Deliver prescription labels to the production department ahead of scheduled delivery times
• Proactively seek guidance from registered pharmacy professionals in navigating complex situations
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards and protect personal and organizational information
• Other duties will be assigned as required for business needs within the Pharmacy Assistant scope of responsibilities

CareRx is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant L2 with Kroll pharmacy software experience to join our Pharmacy team in supporting a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities. The Pharmacy Assistant will assist with the preparation, packaging and organization of medication deliveries, while supporting daily operations in accordance with the Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

Compensation Range

$ 19- $23 hour. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate's credentials and experience.

Location

This is on-site role at our Oakville Pharmacy at 3430 Superior court an d follows a five-day workweek with participation in on-call rotation for weekends.
