Job summary

Lawtons in Stellarton, NS is seeking friendly, knowledgeable pharmacy professionals to join our team and provide patient-centered care. This role focuses on prescription assembly, data entry, processing transactions, and supporting clinical services.

The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree or Pharmacy Technology Certificate, or other recognized program; prior pharmacy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or Pharmacy Technology Certificate or other Pharmacy Recognized program.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly – data entry.
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Promote PROprofile programs.
• Compounding.
• Pill Pack Assembly.
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Drug order creation and receiving.
• Schedule professional clinical services (medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements, etc.).
• BTC management.
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotics counts, etc.
• Adhere to company standards and assist with other pharmacy operations as required.

• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
