Job summary

Brunel in Southeast Calgary is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join a specialty pharmacy team, supporting daily operations by managing stock, preparing and disinfecting compounding components. This role enables home infusion of parenteral nutrition to patients across the province.

The successful candidate will work with pharmacists and technicians to ensure accurate preparation, documentation, and handling of medications while upholding patient safety and compliance, with potential for contract

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Certificate or equivalent education preferred.
• Experience in a regulated healthcare environment is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of supplies to meet compounding demands.
• Pick, inspect, verify, and disinfect components against orders.
• Assist in cleaning equipment and maintaining facility compliance.
• Maintain and participate in inventory counts.
