You will prepare sterile IV therapies including antibiotics, chemotherapy, and TPN, collaborating with a pharmacy team to ensure accuracy, quality, and patient safety. This role suits someone with strong aseptic technique and detail-oriented work ethic.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience within a community, hospital, and/or pharmacy environment.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy technology and aseptic technique.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptable, including availability to work various shifts and areas as required.

Responsibilities

• Compound sterile intravenous preparations, including antibiotics, chemotherapy, and TPN.
• Pick, inspect, and verify production components against required documentation.
• Maintain clean room inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available for production.
• Follow established aseptic, line-clearance, quality assurance, and production procedures.
• Complete required validation, calibration, microbiological monitoring, and product inspections.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Label and package compounded products to maintain proper identification and product integrity.
• Support the cleaning and maintenance of clean room equipment and work surfaces.
