Job summary

Real Canadian Superstore in Brandon, MB is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support accurate dispensing, data entry, and patient service. You will handle third-party adjudication, stock maintenance, OTC inquiries, and prescription pickup with a focus on accuracy and customer care.

Applicants with prior Pharmacy Assistant experience and strong organizational, communication, and computer skills are encouraged. Flexible hours including days, evenings, nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Proficient computer/data/entry skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of hours which may include days, evenings, night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and confirming accuracy of prescription information before filling
• Data entry of patient care information
• Third party adjudication (if necessary)
• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
• Handling general OTC enquiries and referring to Pharmacist as needed
• Processing customer prescription pickups
