Job summary

Real Canadian Superstore in Calgary, AB, part of Loblaw, is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing and patient care under supervision. You will greet patients, enter data, assist with third-party adjudication, and help maintain stock in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Strong organizational and communication skills, prior customer service, and basic computer/data entry abilities are important. Flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, and weekends are expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and confirm accuracy of prescription information prior to filling.
• Enter patient care information into data systems accurately.
• Assist with third party adjudication when necessary.
• Dispense prescription medications accurately.
• Maintain pharmacy stock using inventory control systems.
• Handle general OTC inquiries and refer to Pharmacist when needed.
• Assist with customer prescription pickup.
