Pattison Food Group Ltd. (Save-On-Foods) is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant for University Heights Pharmacy in Victoria, BC. You will handle prescriptions, patient data, stock management and daily duties in a team-focused, customer-centred environment.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have dispensary experience.
• Strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and refill requests.
• Inputting patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Ordering, receiving, and returning stock; expiry checks; balance owing; inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interactions and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our University Heights Pharmacy location in Victoria, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

You have:

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Compensation Details:

$19.00 - $23.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
