Save-On-Foods in Vernon, BC is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Village Green team. You will interact with customers, process prescriptions, and contribute to a friendly, efficient pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years of dispensary experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.
