Job summary

Save-On-Foods Langley - Downtown is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to support patient-centred care in our community pharmacy.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, inputting patient data, managing stock, and communicating with pharmacists. Applicants should have an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program or 2 years of dispensary experience, strong communication, and familiarity with Kroll software.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• Strong work ethic and 'let’s get it done' attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and refill requests.
• Inputting patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Managing stock: ordering, receiving, returns, expiry checks, inventory corrections.
• Following merchandising programs, procedures and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interactions and billing information to the pharmacist.

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our Langley - Downtown location in Langley, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.

• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.

• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.

• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.

• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

You have:

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.

• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.

Compensation Details:

$19.00 - $23.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
