Save-On-Foods in Coquitlam, BC is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant at the Sunwood location. You will help with prescription intake, stocking, and pharmacist support, delivering friendly, patient-centred service to our community.

Requirements: accredited Pharmacy Assistant program or 2 years dispensary experience; strong work ethic; excellent communication and customer service; knowledge of Kroll computer systems is an asset.

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

Compensation Details:

$19.00 - $23.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
