Responsibilities:

1. Greeting patients and confirming prescription information accuracy
2. Entering patient care data
3. Handling third-party adjudication if necessary
4. Accurately dispensing medications
5. Maintaining pharmacy stock through inventory control
6. Addressing OTC inquiries and referring to Pharmacists as needed
7. Managing customer prescription pickups

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset
• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills
• Strong communication skills
• Customer service experience
• Proficient in computer and data entry skills
• Flexible with working hours including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Hiring Range: $17.40 - $20.25 per hour. This is a unionized position, with pay rates set by the collective agreement. The range is the starting salary.
