We are a national organization with a large network of pharmacy fulfillment centers strategically located across the country. Position Summary

CareRx is in an exciting growth phase and is seeking to hire a Pharmacy Assistant to join our great Specialty Pharmacy team located at 8610 Commerce Court, Burnaby, BC.

This is a full time permanent position and prior experience in specialty pharmacy is an advantage, but not required.

Only a seven minute walk from our pharmacy office to Skytrain (Production Way). We offer benefits, vacation, a stable schedule, a positive team culture, and membership with a talented team doing meaningful work.

Compensation: $18 - $22/hour

Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience for the role with CareRx

Your Day To Day

  • Assisting in our Shipping department
  • Running PacMed machine
  • Completing corrections of rolls through PacVision
  • Packaging medications (i.e., blister packs, vials, strips)
  • Receiving and sending inventory orders
  • Managing inventory
  • Entering new prescriptions in Kroll, PCC, and/or Catalyst
  • Synchronizing data with our PacMed machine
  • Processing refills in Kroll
  • Organizing and coordinating deliveries to shipping
  • Day-to-day maintenance of our pharmacy operations both independently and in cooperation with teammates
