Neighbourly Pharmacy Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our Pharmasave team in Sooke, BC. You will support pharmacists and technicians, greet customers, handle prescriptions, and help manage inventory in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is preferred.
• Previous experience within a pharmacy is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Kroll pharmacy software(training will be provided).
• Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers.

Aufgaben

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care
• Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner
• Assist with entering, labeling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician
• Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols
• Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits
• Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations
• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

Compensation listed is a starting point only and will be determined based on candidate experience.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
