Royal Drugs is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant in Ottawa to support Pharmacists and Registered Pharmacy Technicians. This full-time, permanent role involves accurate order fulfillment and assisting in the dispensing process.

Responsibilities include sterile preparation, inventory management, and helping with final checks. Candidates should have technical training and a detail-oriented mindset; aseptic techniques are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Compound sterile preparations following P&Ps and company standards.
• Calculate and supply clean room staff with ingredients required for compounding.
• Label final containers and pack orders for delivery.
• Support pharmacists during the final check.
• Calibrate, monitor, and maintain equipment inside and outside of the clean room.
• Receive and place orders of medications, solutions and supplies on the shelves and maintain inventory.
• Organize and maintain the work area inside and outside of the clean room.

Purpose:

Pharmacy Assistants work with the Pharmacists and Registered Pharmacy Technicians to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy.
