Why this role is important?

What you'll do:

  1. Fill a variety of prescriptions efficiently to maintain workflow.
  2. Prepare compounds, mixtures, and temperature control items.
  3. Package blister pack medications.
  4. Deliver completed products based on schedules.
  5. Ensure appropriate follow-up on minor issues.
  6. Synchronization and collaboration with other departments.
  7. Ensure organization of work station and inventory shelves.
  8. Maintain appropriate supplies and materials.
  9. Some involvement in prescription information management.
  10. Recognize liability on the outcomes of service provided.
  11. Commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging.

What you bring:

  2. Detail-oriented and ability to prioritize work assignments.
  3. Ability to adapt to change.
  4. Experience working in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  5. Ability to work and maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods of time.
  6. Positive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitude.
  7. High School Diploma.
  8. Exposure to Hospital or Long Term Care Pharmacy.
  9. Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment.
  10. Pharmacy Technician Diploma from an accredited college, but not required.
