Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy in Englehart, Ontario is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. You will support pharmacists and technicians, greet customers, and assist with prescription entry, labeling, and packaging under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy is an asset.
• Kroll prescription data entry experience is an asset.
• Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care.

• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers.
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care

Schedule

• The store is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Candidates must be flexible and available to work both daytime and evening shifts as needed to support business operations.
