Job summary

Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd. is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions and maintaining accurate patient records. The role involves inputting prescriptions, labeling, and ensuring compliance within the pharmacy's computer system.

You will assist with third-party management, documentations, and daily tasks to help deliver exceptional patient care and efficient pharmacy operations in the community of Beaverlodge, Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions
• Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy’s computer system
• Complete documentations such as third party management and reconciliation, filling prescriptions, printing, invoices, etc.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify approaching and critical expiry dates
