Job summary

CareRx is seeking a Pharmacist to join our Lethbridge pharmacy team. Under the general direction of the Pharmacy Manager, you will ensure prescriptions are dispensed accurately and safely while providing pharmaceutical patient care focused on therapeutic appropriateness.

On-site in Lethbridge, you will collaborate with the care team, manage daily tasks, participate in on-call rotation, and uphold provincial/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with health care professionals.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Experience in long-term care is an asset; injections and APA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with all pharmacy staff to dispense medications accurately, safely, timely and completely.
• Complete daily tasks per policies and procedures.
• Consult with pharmacy management for unresolved issues.
• Provide exceptional patient care to CareRx patients and partners.
• Communicate with the resident care team per corporate guidelines.
• Review medication procedures and document recommendations.
• Follow provincial, federal laws and corporate policies at all times.
• Help maintain pharmacy inventory and participate in training of staff.
