Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven pharmacy practice and operations with safe dispensing and patient counseling.
• Ability to conduct clinical assessments and optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Experience with compounding when required.
• Current Alberta pharmacist licensure or eligibility.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Attention to detail and patient safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced community pharmacy.
• Experience with pharmacy management systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and interpret prescriptions.
• Perform clinical assessments to optimize drug therapy.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects and adherence.
• Collaborate with prescribers and other health professionals.
• Support chronic disease management and immunization services.
• Maintain regulatory and company standards.
