Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a part-time Pharmacist at the Woodgrove location in Nanaimo, BC. You will manage daily pharmacy operations, dispense medications, administer vaccines, and provide patient-centered clinical services.

Requirements include a Canadian Pharmacist licence, injection certification, and familiarity with Kroll Pharmacy Software. OAT training and ongoing professional development are assets.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Canadian Pharmacist licence and be in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Injection certification required.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

Compensation Details:

$57.00 - $60.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
