Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Fort Nelson, BC is hiring a Pharmacist to join our community-focused team. You will dispense medications, offer private consultations, and provide clinical services while maintaining compliance with provincial and federal regulations.

You will bring a Canadian Pharmacist licence, injection certification, and experience with OAT; knowledge of Kroll is preferred. We offer a signing bonus and moving allowance to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists.
• Injection certification required.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and required training.
• Ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and manage day-to-day pharmacy operations.
• Maximize clinical opportunities and administer vaccinations.
• Maintain inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.

We are hiring for a Pharmacist at our location in Fort Nelson, BC.

This position is eligible for a signing bonus and moving allowance for the successful candidate.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$75.00 - $78.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
