Job summary

Save-On-Foods Woodgrove in Nanaimo, BC is hiring a part-time Pharmacist to deliver patient-centred care, manage day-to-day operations, vaccinations, and clinical services.

You will maintain inventory, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide private consultations. Injection certification and a Canadian Pharmacist licence are required; knowledge of Kroll is preferred.

Qualifications

• Canadian Pharmacist licence in good standing with the applicable College.
• Active injection certification.
• Experience with OAT and relevant training when required.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, preferably Kroll.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing and vaccinations.
• Maintain inventory within the pharmacy and ensure compliance.
• Keep up-to-date with trends and clinical opportunities in pharmacy.
• Offer private consultations and patient-centred care.
• Provide clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$57.00 - $60.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
