Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Western Canada is seeking Clinical Pharmacists to support our stores across the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the BC interior. You will deliver patient-centred care, support clinical programs, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires a BC-registered Pharmacist, retail pharmacy experience, injection certification, and travel between locations. Competitive benefits and scheduling options are available.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licence in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
• Retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Certification in Injection administration required.
• Methadone training beneficial.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations in the lower mainland.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and medication management services at selected retail stores.

We are hiring for Clinical Pharmacists to support our stores in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Interior of BC.

Theclinical pharmacistwill be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of clinical programs for the organization and supporting the clinical needs in select communities in the BC lower mainland.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing clinical and medication management services at selected retail stores.
• Marketing and implementing clinical programs into select retail stores.
• Supporting the development of clinical programs and pharmacy services.
• Networking with other health care providers.
• Staying updated on industry knowledge in the areas of managed care, clinical pharmacy, innovative drug therapies, and enabling technologies.
• Managing the day-to-day clinical programs at select retail pharmacies.
• Creating a strong work ethic and patient-centered care culture in the workplace.
• Fostering collaborative working relationships to support the professional practice and ongoing development of pharmacists and other team members.

You have:

• A Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
• Experience in Retail/community pharmacy.
• Certification in Injection administration.
• Methadone training.
• The ability to travel to various retail locations in the lower mainland.
• Good knowledge of consumer/patient health segments.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of drug therapies.
• Strong collaboration skills to communicate, refine and advocate patient care solutions.
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal and experience in presenting to health care professionals.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience in using Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and PowerPoint.

Compensation Details:

$48.00 - $66.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
