Save-On-Foods in Nanaimo, BC is hiring a Pharmacist to deliver patient-centred care, manage daily operations, vaccinations, and clinical services within a community-focused team.

You will use Kroll pharmacy software, maintain inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, and stay current with medication trends to support healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Licensed Canadian Pharmacist in good standing.
• Injection certification required.
• Experience with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and required training.
• Strong clinical knowledge to assess and plan patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy operations, dispensing, and vaccinations.
• Maintain accurate inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
• Stay updated on new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Provide private consultations and patient-centred care.

We are hiring for a Pharmacist at our Woodgrove location in Nanaimo, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$57.00 - $60.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
