Neighbourly Pharmacy is currently hiring a full-time Staff Pharmacist to join our established team at Golden Family Pharmacy in Golden, BC.

We welcome applications from candidates who are currently in the process of obtaining their licensure.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities
  • Determine appropriateness of drug therapy
  • Monitor medication therapy for effectiveness, adverse reactions, and interactions
  • Counsel patients regarding prescriptions, OTC products, and health related issues, including but not limited to; indications, contraindications, adverse effects, interactions, and appropriate storage and care
  • Answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment
  • Provide clinical services as appropriate for eligible patients
  • Administer injections/immunizations as needed
  • Promote health and wellness by providing education on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence
  • Collaborate with team members and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes
  • Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities
  • Adhere to federal, provincial, and territorial regulations governing pharmacy practice
  • Engage in continuous professional development; keeps knowledge and professional skills up‑to‑date
  • Other duties as required
