Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Operations professional to manage the pharmacy during duty hours, providing consultation to customers and health care providers, and supporting full scope professional services and dispensing activities.

You will ensure privacy, compliance with regulations, and accurate dispensing while maintaining high standards of customer care and collaboration with the broader health team.

Responsibilities

• Pharmacy and Customer Service: Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy.
• Provide counselling on prescriptions and OTC/behind the counter products.
• Dispense medication and ensure accuracy of all prescriptions.
• Communicate with other health care professionals within the circle of care.
• Maintain records in accordance with legislation and policy.
