Reporting to the Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services, the Pharmacist ensures safe and effective drug therapy by overseeing drug distribution systems, supervising support staff, and resolving drug-related issues. Responsibilities include drug regimen review, medication reconciliation, pharmacokinetic monitoring, patient education, drug information, and participating in medical rounds. The Pharmacist may also train pharmacy students and hospital staff.
