Job summary

Pharmasave West Kelowna in Kelowna, BC is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team on a full-time, part-time, or weekend basis. This on-site role offers competitive pay ($65.00 per hour), comprehensive benefits, and a signing bonus after two years for full-time staff.

You will focus on clinical services including medication reviews, vaccinations, and patient counseling, while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize care and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
• Injection certification is an asset.
• Kroll experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Focus on clinical services (medication reviews, vaccinations, minor ailments).

• Administer vaccines.

We are looking for both part-time, full-time, and weekend pharmacists

Pharmacist Responsibilities:

• Focus on clinical services (i.e., medication reviews, vaccinations, Minor Ailments)
• Initiate care plans, follow up and document
• Administer vaccines
• Determine appropriateness of drug therapy
• Monitor medication adherence
• Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information
• Communicate well with other healthcare professionals
• Recommend OTC products and vitamins
• Answer clinical questions from patients
