Summary:

To manage the operations of the Pharmacy while on duty, including providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, practicing to full scope in providing professional services, dispensing medication, and assisting in the maintenance of the dispensary.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Pharmacy and Customer Service: Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy, practice within legal requirements, ensure privacy and confidentiality, provide counseling on prescriptions and products, practice to full scope of professional services, be identifiable to the public, ensure accuracy of prescriptions, communicate with healthcare professionals, and maintain required records.

Workflow and Inventory Management:

• Control access to the dispensary, review workflow queues daily, manage stock levels, identify expired inventory, oversee medication orders, and ensure compliance with controlled substances regulations.

Operations:

• Maintain a professional appearance of work areas, handle financial reports, respond to store communications, and file incident reports as needed.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• Decision-making skills, ability to lead and coach colleagues, drive business growth, provide exceptional customer service, possess strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of pharmacy systems, and commitment to health and safety procedures. Continued education is encouraged.
