Job description

Job Description:

As a Pharmacist at Mednow Pharmacy, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring that all prescriptions are properly filled and checked. You must be comfortable working independently, managing your tasks, and collaborating with the team to maintain high standards of patient care. This is an in-person position, available on both a part-time basis, with shifts during the day, including weekends.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, including filling prescriptions and checking them.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and health management.
  • Work independently to manage and oversee your workload, ensuring all tasks are completed including the filling, checking and counselling of medications
  • Set medications up for delivery using Uber
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure proper medication therapy management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Mednow’s operational standards.
  • Address patient inquiries and resolve medication-related issues.
  • Work well with the team as well as independently to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care.
  • Comfortable working independently, including filling and checking prescriptions and providing counseling.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
