Summary:

Shoppers Drug Mart Kensington is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations, provide consultation to customers and healthcare providers, practice to full scope in providing professional services, dispense medication, and assist in maintaining the dispensary.

Responsibilities:

1. Pharmacy and Customer Service: Acknowledge customers, practice within legal requirements, ensure privacy, provide counseling, practice full scope of professional services, be identifiable, ensure prescription accuracy, communicate with healthcare professionals, maintain records.
2. Workflow and Inventory Management: Control access, review workflow queues, manage stock and expiration, oversee stock levels and medication orders, comply with regulations regarding controlled substances.
3. Operations: Maintain pharmacy appearance, handle financial reports, respond to store communications, file incident reports.
4. Experience, Skills & Qualifications: Independent decision-making, team leadership, business development, customer service excellence, professionalism, problem-solving, pharmacy system knowledge, safety compliance, ongoing education.
