Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Prince George, BC, is hiring a Pharmacist to manage day-to-day operations, dispense medications, maximize clinical opportunities, and administer vaccinations.

You will provide private consultations, maintain inventory, ensure compliance, and stay current with pharmacy trends. The role requires a valid Canadian Pharmacist license and injection certification, with OAT experience an asset.

Qualifications

• Canadian Pharmacist licence in good standing.
• Injection certification.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with OAT and required training.
• Ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge.
• Additional training or certifications are assets.

Responsibilities

We are hiring for a Pharmacist at our Pine Centre location in Prince George, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$48.00 - $51.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
