Job summary

PEAK Pharma Solutions is seeking a results-driven Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to support a dermatology topical program, covering Manitoba with a base in Winnipeg. You will develop a local presence, communicate product messages, and build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree, 2–3+ years pharma sales experience, excellent communication, and willingness to travel. A driver’s license and bilingual English/French are assets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Science.
  • 2–3+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience is considered an asset.
  • Motivated self-starter with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible to adapt quickly and anticipates challenges.
  • Agility to learn and be coached.
  • Initiative to act quickly on business opportunities and sense of urgency.
  • Strong presentation, communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

Responsibilities

PEAK Pharma Solutions is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to support a dermatology topical sales program on behalf of our client, covering Manitoba, with a base in Winnipeg.

You’ll be an integral part of developing a local presence on behalf of our client. Your role will include:

  • demonstrate in-depth understanding of your promoted product key messages and consistently delivers to customers in a variety of selling situations
  • engage customers in a needs-based selling discussions that position our client’s products as a solution to established or identified customer needs
  • leverages the clinical\ business\social needs of the customer in order to drive adoption of our client’s products and build long-term loyalty
  • treats everyone in the office as a customer (front office staff, nurses, office manager, etc.)
  • has the situational awareness to read the environment in an office\clinic and adapt their approach based on the circumstances
  • manages their territory like it is their own business
  • demonstrates the ability to formulate short and long-term customer plans to achieve sales objectives
  • is accountable: “owns” the results
Strategic agility\Business acumen
  • able to take a bigger picture view of their territory to assess and analyze the potential to grow their business
  • develops effective business plans
  • able to use the various data sources (Xponent, TSA sales, FSA data) to analyze their territory in order to identify business opportunities
  • leverages doctor-level data and knowledge of the customer to individualize their selling approach
  • knows how to work the territory effectively to achieve the right call frequency on key physicians
  • understands how to work the doctor’s office \ clinic to optimize access to key decision makers and use of selling time
  • dedicated to meeting expectations and requirements of customers (external and internal) and acts with the customer in mindestablishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect
  • Report potential adverse event information, events of special interest and medical device incidents as soon as possible but within 24 hours after becoming aware, regardless of the severity of the event and whether or not you think it is caused by the product.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Science.
  • 2–3+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience is considered an asset.

Full PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. compensation package includes:
  • Competitive compensation based on experience ($68–$90K) plus an incentive structure.
  • Allowances for territorial expenses including car allowance.
