Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. in Brampton, Canada is seeking a Line Mechanic to provide technical support on production lines by maintaining, repairing, and setting up packaging and related equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, conduct adjustments, and support continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality and efficiency. The role requires reading blueprints, PLC awareness, and teamwork in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

Excellent command of English with strong written and oral communication
Sound troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Understanding of PLC operation and pneumatics
Ability to read blue prints, drawings and technical manuals
Strong computer skills to manage work orders and documentation

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, set up and adjust packaging and related equipment on production lines
Perform preventative maintenance and planned repairs to improve reliability and efficiency
Set up printing and vision inspection systems for serialization
Follow MES and SAP processes and document GMP records
Train and guide line operators and technicians to operate equipment safely
Identify parts stock needs and assist with inventory management
Assist with design reviews and FAT for new equipment and upgrades
Execute validation protocols and support continuous improvement projects
