Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support an automated production line in Woodstock. The role requires prior manufacturing experience, ability to read visual work instructions, and solid math and communication skills. You will operate and monitor automated equipment, record data, and perform pre-shift inspections.

This is a day/afternoon rotation with potential for night shifts. Compensation starts at $25/hr with a $1/hr premium for night shifts, and offers training,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a MUST.
• Experience utilizing visual work instructions to complete a task.
• General math skills are required.
• Great written and oral communication.
• Ability to work well with people.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• If you have previous experience to robotic or automated manufacturing, it would be an asset.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to operate and tend to automated equipment.
• Interpret and understand machine readouts and adjust settings for variance, quality and thresholds.
• Record accurate production data in computerized system.
• Conduct pre-shift cell inspections to ensure machinery is in good working condition.
