Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Woodstock, ON to operate automated equipment and support a growing manufacturing team. The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, reliable data recording, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience using visual work instructions to complete tasks.
• Good math skills and ability to interpret measurements.
• Strong written and oral communication; able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend automated equipment as part of a team.
• Interpret machine readouts and adjust settings for quality and variance.
• Record production data in the computerized system accurately.
• Perform pre-shift inspections to ensure machinery readiness.

Manufacturing Technician

Wage: $25/hr

Shift: Day/Afternoon 2 week rotation or Straight nights - Upon being hired you must be able to work straight nights

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to operate and tend to automated equipment
• Interpret and understand machine readouts and adjust settings for variance, quality and thresholds
• Record accurate production data in computerized system
• Conduct pre-shift cell inspections to ensure machinery is in good working condition

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a MUST
• Experience utilizing visual work instructions to complete a task
• General math skills are required
• Great written and oral communication
• Ability to work well with people
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• If you have previous experience to robotic or automated manufacturing, it would be an asset
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
