Job summary

Pet Valu Canada Inc. is seeking a dedicated Keyholder for our Whitby store in Ontario. You will assist with cashiering, stock management, and daily store operations to ensure a friendly, safe shopping experience for pets and their owners.

The role requires at least 2 years in retail or customer service, with a friendly, outgoing personality and reliable transportation. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is requested.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Proven ability to work with customers and handle POS systems.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and related paperwork.
• Stocking orders: placing items (≤50 lbs) in the sales area.
• Store maintenance: sweeping, dusting and general upkeep.
• Open/close the store following procedures.
• Assist in setting daily goals when managers are absent.
