Job summary

Pet Valu is seeking a friendly, reliable Keyholder to join our team in Geraldton, Ontario. You will assist customers at the cash register, help with stocking, and support store operations while ensuring a welcoming shopping environment for pets and their families.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work a flexible schedule.
• Reliable transportation to and from the store; may require a driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Prepare merchandise orders, banking and related paperwork.
• Stock small items (under 10 lbs) and larger items up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Store maintenance: sweep, dust, general cleaning.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and stocking shelves.
• Open/close store following procedures; support store management as needed.
