Job summary

Pet Valu in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a Keyholder to support daily store operations. You will assist customers at the register, stock shelves, prepare merchandise orders, handle banking and other paperwork, and help maintain a clean, inviting storefront.

The role requires a friendly, outgoing personality, at least 2 years in retail or customer service, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Working knowledge of POS system.
• Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to/from the store.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other miscellaneous paperwork.
• Placing small items into stock in the sales area.
• Store maintenance: sweeping and dusting.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and stocking.
• Open/close the store following procedures.
• Assign daily goals when managers are absent.
• Other duties as required.
