If you love helping animals, this is the right place for you! UW Veterinary Care (UWVC) is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist of PET (Positron Emission Tomography)/CT imaging to assist in essential patient procedures. Operate and maintain PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine equipment. Maintain and operate cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in a patient's body to create diagnostic images. Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols. Operate general stationary and portable x-ray equipment with additional training. Assist with procedures including patient care, equipment settings, and equipment troubleshooting. Perform cross sectional imaging such as CT and/or MRI. Perform studies on large, small, and exotic patients. You can make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their owners while advancing your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment!

Associate's Degree, as a minimum.
Required
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMCBT or ARRT(N)
- Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- At least one year experience of Nuclear Medicine and Positron Emission Tomography technology.
Full Time: 100%
It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Minimum $60,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications
Sign-on Bonus of 3% of base pay (based on FTE) to be paid over the first year of employment!
Requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
