Job summary

Abell Pest Control Inc. in Gravenhurst, Canada is seeking a Pest Technician—We'll Train! This position includes a base salary with commission and a bonus, plus a company vehicle and thorough on-the-job training.

You will guide extermination processes, establish new business opportunities on-site, and ensure safety protocols are followed. A clean driving record and strong communication skills are essential; licensing steps may be required to obtain a Pesticide License.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Pesticide License if not currently held.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for the best extermination processes and pest control methods.
• Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities.
• Follow safety procedures and product instructions when using fumigants, pesticides, and spray equipment.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in the company vehicle.
• Manage schedule and route to complete services timely.
• Address customer needs and optimize their program on-site.

• Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and/or other pest control methods
• Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities
• Follow safety procedures and product instructions at all times when using fumigants, pesticides and power spraying equipment, such wearing protective gear guidelines
• Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in company vehicle
• Manage schedule and route to ensure services are completed in a timely manner
• Address customer needs and optimize their program on-site

Requirements:

• A Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Valid Structural License or willingness to obtain your Pesticide License
• Sales experience an asset

$44,521 - Position qualifies for incentive bonus and commission on top of base salary
