SE Health is excited to offer this new sponsored Personal Support Worker Training Program to provide passionate PSWs with the skills to help our communities.

Are you someone eager to care for others? We seek committed, compassionate individuals who can multitask and meet various challenges.

This 6-month training program provides all necessary knowledge and skills for success.

Program Details

• Five weeks of PAID PSW training at $19.05/hr, Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Successful completion of the first 5 weeks allows part-time community work with SE Health while continuing education.
• The program continues with 4 months of virtual learning, 3 weeks of in-person skills labs, and placements.
• Training covers personal care, household management, and general support.

Requirements

• Ability to travel and support patient needs
• Valid G or G2 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification within 3 weeks of start
• Proof of immunizations (MMR, Varicella/Zosters, HepB, Tetanus) and recent TB test
• Clear police and vulnerable sector checks (upon job offer)
