Under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), a Personal Support Worker (PSW) will provide personal care of residents in accordance with the residents’ care plan, ensuring high-quality care and collaboration with the interdisciplinary health care team.
Education & Experience
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
• One year previous working experience in health care, preferably in a long-term care setting
Skills & Abilities
• Mature and in good physical health
• Genuine interest in the well-being of the elderly
• Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and flexibility
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Clear criminal background check including vulnerable sector screening
• Two-step TB skin test
• Competitive Wages: $27.61 per hour
