Job description

Personal Support Worker Trainee - (Paid Training Program)

Join to apply for the Personal Support Worker Trainee - (Paid Training Program) role at SE Health.

Program Details

This 6-month training program includes:

1. Five weeks of paid PSW training at $19.05/hr, Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
2. Successful candidates will work part-time in the community with SE Health while continuing their education.
3. Followed by 4 months of virtual learning, 3 weeks of in-person skills lab, and required placements.

Requirements

• Ability to travel and attend meetings supporting patient needs
• Valid G or G2 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification within 3 weeks of start date
• Proof of immunizations (MMR, Varicella/Zosters, HepB, Tetanus) and recent TB test
• Clear police and vulnerable sector checks (upon job offer)
