Personal Support Worker Trainee - (Paid Training Program)

Join to apply for the Personal Support Worker Trainee - (Paid Training Program) role at SE Health.

This program offers comprehensive training to prepare you for a career as a Personal Support Worker (PSW). The training includes paid classroom instruction, virtual learning, in-person skills labs, and community placements.

Program Details

• Five weeks of paid PSW training at $19.05/hr, Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Successful candidates will have opportunities to work part-time in the community while continuing their education.
• The program continues with 4 months of virtual learning, 3 weeks of in-person skills labs, and required placements.

Requirements

• Ability to travel and attend meetings to support patient needs
• Valid G or G2 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification within 3 weeks of start date
• Proof of immunizations (MMR, Varicella/Zosters, HepB, Tetanus) and recent TB test
• Clear police and vulnerable sector checks (upon job offer)
