Job summary

Yee Hong is seeking a Personal Support Worker for a temporary part-time evening position in Markham. The PSW will assist residents with daily activities, personal hygiene, and emotional support within a resident-centred care model.

Responsibilities include safeguarding residents, following care plans, and maintaining accurate records while working closely with a compassionate team. Evening shifts and a 3‑month contract are specified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalent.
• Experience in long term care setting is an asset.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Registration with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) preferred.
• Resident-centred care focus with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem-solve and time manage.
• Ability to work independently as well as be an active, positive team player.
• GPA/ CPI training an asset.
• Computer literacy (Point Click Care, MS Office). Basic knowledge of Workday an asset.
• Ability to speak and converse in Chinese an asset.
