Job summary

Yee Hong is seeking a Personal Support Worker (temporary part-time, day shift) in Markham to provide personal care and assist residents in daily activities and hygiene. You will support residents' physical, social and emotional needs within a resident-centred approach, adhering to standards and rights.

Qualifications include Ontario PSW program completion, CPR certificate, and registration with HSCPOA preferred; strong customer service, initiative, and teamwork are essential; computer literacy

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario.
• Experience in long term care is an asset.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Registration with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) preferred.
• Resident-centred care focus with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem-solve and time manage.
• Ability to work independently as well as be an active, positive team player.
• Computer literacy (Point Click Care, MS Office). Basic knowledge of Workday an asset.
• Ability to speak and converse in Chinese an asset.
