Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare, through Carecor Health Services Ltd., seeks a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to support patients across the Toronto area. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care in facility settings under nursing supervision.

This casual role offers flexible shifts, with an hourly pay range of $22.00–$26.00, and opportunities to gain experience across multiple facilities while contributing to residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate or Nursing pathway enrollment is required.
• CPI Certification preferred.
• Clinical PSW experience in the last 2 years.
• Current BLS certification and N95 mask fit test.
• Immunization against MMRV, Hep B, and Tdap/Td required.
• TB test negative within 12 months or chest x-ray negative within 5 years.
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Under nursing staff, perform floor and observational care to promote physical, social, and emotional well-being.
• Work in one facility for full 8–12 hour shifts.
• Casual position with flexible shifts.

Job Title: Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Location: Toronto, ON and surrounding areas

Schedule: Casual (with flexible shifts)

Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our amazing team working in the Toronto and surrounding areas supporting Transitional Care Units. We are ready when you are!

Under the direction of facility nursing staff, you will perform floor and observational care duties - helping to create an environment that promotes optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8 - 12hour shift. This is a Casual position with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate or enrolled in a Nursing pathway program or a Nursing student
• CPI Certification required (Crisis Prevention & Intervention Training Certificate) - preferred
• Clinical experience as a PSW within the past 2 years
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and N95 Mast Fit Test Certificate
• Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV), Hepatitis B, and Tdap/Td
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past 5 years
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
